For starters, don’t buy a smart phone now, wait till a few years from now. I know..why??, cause they will be cheap then in comparison to now. Well actually, maybe not, they will just upgrade them and you will always have to pay alot for one of these. So get an Archos 7 or wait till the Archos 10 comes out and add Skype to it. This will save you tons on a contract, monthly charges, etc. Also, you won’t have to pay for downloads such with itunes.

Personally, I was livid when my iPad crashed. I had the 16GB and maxed it out, but nevertheless it shouldn’t ever become “unstable”. Steve Gibson from “Security Now” stated and forewarned that he “never” turns it off. I did cause one of the apps was shaking and being unstable, crashing basically, then boom--blank screen..

Since I decided to not sync this and back it up, it was just great losing all my apps, and notes and links, and contacts, and basically my whole digital life. At the apple store, they were so nonchalant about it, I knew I would be screwed, they needed to restore it, I asked for my money back, they said that I should have backed it up and “not” used it as my primary computer. I was thinking to myself and kinda to the salesperson, uh. duh..Why wouldn’t I try to use this as my primary computer, isn’t that the point, why do I want to carry around a laptop, that’s so last year right? Attention Apple developers.. Please on the next gen have a backup OS on it. Also, so I don’t have to sync s*** anymore...ever.

Can you believe the salesman said: “Do you want to hold onto it for another day or so and think about it before we do a refund?” I said, no thanks, I’ve kinda had it, it’s basically useless to me now, I’ve downloaded and was charged for apps that I can’t use, and lost all my data, from links. He rang up a receipt, I was out in 60 seconds. I’ll wait and study the second gen thoroughly before making my next purchase.
