My 10 commandments for a PC:

1. Thou shall defrag at least once a week.
2. Thou shall install and maintain Anti-Virus program, updating on a daily basis.
3. Thou shall NOT click on any pop-ups or ads or anything 'flashing' when on the Internet.
4. Thou shall use a good Spyware/Malware program, and use it frequently to 'clean' out junk.
5. Thou shall not email all 'warnings', amber alerts, so on and so forth to everyone on your mailing list, 95% of those emails are False or Urban Legends or Hoaxes.
6. Thou must back up regularly, PCs are known to fail, hard drives will NOT last forever.
7. Thou will do regular maintenance on the PC, like a car, oil must be changed, you must put gas in it to drive, get new tires, brakes, windshield wipers, so on and so forth.
8. Thou shall not try to fix any PC, while it is under warranty, call the company's support for answers.
9. Thou shall try to keep a PC as simple as possible, programs running in the background is one of the biggest reasons, for a 'slow' PC.
10.Thou shall NEVER touch another's PC, unless asked to do so.
