Tough Love vs. Spanking - Good Argument

Most people think it's improper to spank children, so I have tried other methods
to control my kids when they have one of 'those moments.'
One that I found effective is for me to just take the child for a car ride and talk.
Some say it's the vibration from the car, others say it's the time away from any distractions such as TV,
Video Games, Computer, IPod, etc..

Either way, my kids usually calm down and stop misbehaving after our car ride together.
Eye to eye contact helps a lot too.

I've included a photo below of one of my sessions with my son,
in case you would like to use the technique.

Please let me know if you find this helpful.
Sincerely,
A Friend

This works with grandchildren,
nieces, and nephews as well.

When I babysit and I get unruly kids, I tell them I'm going to play an entire side of a Carly Simon album. They have no Idea what it is, and don't want to find out. I have neither the turn table or the album. It doesn't matter. It's the threat that works.

This was AWESOME! The story going along with it made it all the more hilarious. I was all set to comment on a serious blog about a serious topic, maybe debate with a few opposing views, then this happened. I no longer feel like debating, just applauding.

You, sir, just made my day, and it's only 09:30. ^_^

Now do you know what the word "NO" means.
How about the phrase "Stop That", got that down pat yet.

This is classic, this was the best laugh I had all day.
