Zane Savage's Last Show
THE SAVAGE SHOW'S LAST SHOW
Friday, January 23, 2009 will mark my last live show at Ustream.tv. Due to a lack of participation, lack of respect, and overall work that goes into the show, I have decided to end my over 1 year run at Ustream.tv. Ustream has been fantastic for me and my brand within the last year, but the deletion of my featured spot all but solidifies my reasoning to leave.
Please do not get me wrong. I am not blaming Ustream for being the cause of departure as they are a great service that allows many people to connect with other interesting individuals. I feel that me having a live feed is not benefiting my brand at this point. Running this "Zane Savage" brand for over a year, I have learned that my future is not in cam streaming, but radio. I just feel more comfortable behind the mic without the cam on these days.
That being said, I (at this point) will continue to run my weekly radio show at Party 934. My youtube channel will also continue to be updated regularly with more and more tech related material. I have debated whether to create a separate channel designated for skits and comedy bits. If I do decide to do so, you all will obviously be notified.
For all my fans who have watched on ustream, I hope you continue to follow my budding career as I truly believe that with hard work (and the right decisions), I can become a thriving force in the technology community. Stay tuned to ZaneSavage.com to keep up with my latest antics.

Wow... I just tuned in the otherday and saw a big GeeksRadio.fm and as the Radio Manager of Geeks Radio I really appreciated that. I'm very sorry to see you leave, if you ever need anything let me know.

Well, uh, good luck with the direction you want to take things, Zane. :) Don't know what else to say. I'm a bit surprised you're not doing the live thing anymore but I think we can all understand.

I'm not kidding Chris :) Ustream has been great for me, but I just need to focus my attention elsewhere to succeed in the ever growing world of online media. I have to build on my strengths (radio, writing, and reviews).
